• Mr Athidxay BOUANDAOHEUANG

    FOUNDER AND CO-DIRECTOR

    With a foundation in media and filmmaking, Athidxay embarked on a career that spans various roles and accomplishments. He co-founded Lao New Wave Cinema Production in 2009 and served as the producer for three feature films and a mini-series in 2010. Managing PADECT’s DOKLAO Media Center from 2009 to 2016, he played a crucial role in facilitating media programs, imparting video/filmmaking skills to young Laotian filmmakers.

    Since 2017, he has been a Co-Director and Producer at Mind Media, contributing to the production of romantic comedy series like "Love is Pink" and directing documentary series such as "Louk Louy Lao" and short drama series "House the Series." Additionally, he directed a short film addressing human trafficking and HIV/AIDS for APL+. Proficient in languages such as Lao and Thai, with fair proficiency in English, Athidxay's skills extend to media production, graphic and web design, and coaching and facilitation.

    His journey reflects a commitment to storytelling and media education, marked by a diverse and impactful portfolio.

  • Mr Souphalak KEOMANEEKONE

    PROJECT COORDINATOR AND CO-DIRECTOR

    Souphalak is a dedicated Project Coordinator and Trainer with a robust professional background. Having served as staff at the Participatory Development Training Center (PADETC) from November 2012 to August 2014, Souphalak has been an integral part of Mind Media Company since September 2014.

    Throughout their tenure, they have been actively involved in various ongoing projects since 2013. Souphalak has played a key role in conducting capacity-building initiatives aimed at deterring drug usage among young people in Luang Pha Bang province (Project RED COPD, 2013) and Savannakhet province (Project RED COPD, 2017). They have also collaborated on impactful projects such as the Mobile Phone Journalist (MOJO) project with Swiss Cooperation Mekong in Lao PDR in 2017 and the Science Film Festival (SFF) project under GIZ in the same year.

    Additionally, Souphalak has contributed significantly to the long-term Project Promotion of Climate-related Environmental Education (ProCEEd), working in partnership with GIZ and the Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment since 2013. Through their multifaceted roles, Souphalak demonstrates a commitment to enhancing education, environmental awareness, and youth empowerment in the community.

  • Ms Chanthila KONGTHONGTHIP

    PROGRAM MANAGER

    Chanthila, a dynamic Program Manager, has spearheaded impactful healthcare communication and gender development initiatives. Leading projects on mobile phone reporting for healthcare and women's information, she collaborated with esteemed organizations like The Academy Education Development and UNESCO. Chanthila's commitment extends to public health, notably contributing to HIV, AIDS, and STI projects, including the 100% condom initiative. In her versatile career, she excelled in Human Resource Management, Marketing, and served as a Program Manager for the Gender Development Association and Rural Development Agency, focusing on nutrition, gender, and youth empowerment. Currently a Freelance Advisor, Chanthila specializes in gender mainstreaming, sustainable development, and community service.

    Beyond her professional roles, she actively volunteers in hygiene, children's education, and wildlife trafficking surveys, demonstrating her dedication to social causes. Proficient in Lao and Thai, with fair proficiency in English, Chanthila brings a multilingual dimension to her endeavors, showcasing skills in computer applications, coaching, training, and effective project management.

  • Mr Pantana ALOUNSAVATH

    FOUNDER AND TRAINER

    Pantana is an accomplished media professional with a strong foundation in Electronic (Radio and TV) from Vientiane Municipality High School in 1983. His extensive career at Lao TV Station, spanning roles from Sound man to Producer of drama, reflects his dedication to the industry. Pantana's diverse expertise includes work at the Participatory Development Training Centre and pivotal contributions to DOKLAO Media Center. From 2010 to 2015, he produced impactful documentary films for PADETC, addressing topics like "Betting on Laos" and "Imaging Mekong – Business fish." Pantana's versatility is evident in his involvement with SNV Documentary short film production, TV CH3 Program "Lao for Development," and SDC Short films on Laos women gender.

    Since 2015, he has continued to play a crucial role as a Mind Media Staff member, contributing to TVLAO Chanel programs and producing impactful video reports. Pantana's dynamic career showcases his commitment to the ever-evolving landscape of media production.

  • Mr Sengsavang XAYYAVONG

    VIDEO EDITOR AND COLOR GRADING

    Sengsavang Xayyavong is a highly skilled Video Editor and Color Grading professional with expertise in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom. With a career spanning over a decade, he has contributed his talents to prominent companies such as Indeerecords, STR Automotive, IF Media, and Samart Event Organizer. Sengsavang's proficiency extends from video editing and graphic design to shooting and photography. Currently, he remains at the forefront of the industry, excelling in shooting, editing, and color grading. His commitment to visual excellence and versatility make him a standout figure in the world of multimedia.

  • Mrs Toumkham Borihane

    PRODUCTION MANAGER

    Mrs. Toumkham Borihane is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in the entertainment and film industry. Holding a Higher Diploma in Accounting from PakPasak Technical College and a Diploma in English Business from the Vientiane English Institute, she has combined her educational background with a passion for media and arts. Mrs. Borihane's experience includes roles such as Director's Secretary and Artist's Manager and Event Coordinator at Indee Record Company, where she was instrumental in organizing major concerts and festivals like the Indee Freedom Concert and BeerLao Concert.

    Her skills extend to freelance narration for TV advertising and documentary films, showcasing her versatility in the industry. Mrs. Borihane has made significant contributions as a Production Manager in various Lao New Wave Cinema projects, including movies like "Noy Above it All," "The Expiration Date," and "Tuk Tuk." Her talents also shine in her roles as Production Manager and Costume Designer for "House the Series" by Mind Media and "SAMSARA" Film by Lois Patino from Spain, as well as her work as a Costume Designer for "The Trait" film by Mind Media.

    Internationally, Mrs. Borihane has expanded her expertise by participating in concert tours and international film festivals across Asia, including the One Belt One Road concert tour and the ASEAN-XIAN and ASEAN - Malaysia Film Fests. Her broad range of experiences and accomplishments highlight her dynamic capabilities and significant contributions to the media and entertainment sector.

  • Miss Mala CHANTHALACKSA

    CINEMATOGRAPHY

    Miss Mala Chanthalacksa is a dynamic and versatile professional with a Higher Diploma in Business from Lao American College. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills as the leader of a stunt team and the Vovinam Laos national team. Her creative talents are evident in her role as director for films like "Ton-Athith," "Say Nak," and "The Receiver Film," showcasing her ability to bring compelling stories to life.

    Miss Chanthalacksa has also contributed significantly as a Director's Assistant in various projects, including the Beer Lao-New NorMuan TVC and music videos, as well as assisting in the production of the SAMSARA Film. Her skills extend to videography, where she worked on APL Life+ and assisted in other productions like Beer Lao – Baci and The Key series.

    Additionally, Miss Chanthalacksa's experience as a coach for the Vovinam Thailand national team highlights her expertise in Vietnamese martial arts. She has also participated in international competitions in kickboxing and martial arts, making her an accomplished figure both in the film industry and in the world of sports. Her diverse range of talents and experiences make her a valuable asset to any team.
